It is possible to characterize languages so that one can predict how the word "imagination" is used.
Can we characterize languages so that one can predict whether speakers say "That's your imagination.", "That's the imagination.", or "That's an/some imagination.", or "That's imagination."? This strikes me as reasonably valid as a question. Granted, a single word "imagination" might not mean much, but whether languages as a whole tend to use such words one way or another seems rather interesting.
