Colour and Shape Experiment

Dear All,

I was wondering if anyone has heard of an experiment within the last few years and can point me to an article on it. The experiment took adults and gave them nonsensical words for objects that were different shapes and colours. After repeating the words, the participants were asked to give the words back in a list. That list was given to the next person and so forth. The results, if I remember correctly, were that morphemes were created to signify colour and shape within that group of people.

Does anyone know this study and can point me in the right direction?
