Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a French artist living in Paris, and I started to develop an art project about whistle languages. For this project, I am researching different types of whistle speeches from different cultures and origins.
I am writing to you today as I would like to know if there are any accessible sound archives of whistled language (ideally translated) that I could access and use for artistic purposes. Is there a way to consult these sound files? I am trying to get as much whistled sound files I can, to be able to work on this project.
If there is a way I can start this project with a ''library of whistled sounds'', I hope you'll be able to tell me how to access sound files (even better if translated, or subtitled videos). I don't have any specific trail and I don't know where to direct my research yet, as my only source of information is the internet right now. Please let me know if there is a specific person or organization to contact.
I hope you can help me in this research,
Thank you for reading this,
Best regards
Lagarde
