2015-08-20 16:17:20 -0400 asked a question Name for my daugther

We are calling my baby Ela/ Ella the hebrew word for terebinth tree. How would it be spelt? The stress is on the second syllable eh-(as in pear) LA. (As in laugh) Ella Ela, Ayla or other? I don't want to end the word with an h in Israel it seems most spell in English Ella. We live in UK/ Israel and would like a spelling that would keep the sound of the name as uniform as possible between the two countries/ reflect that the name is after the tree.

Other choice is Avia ah-vi-YAH alternate spelling Aviya, Avea? Or other suggestions welcome
